The concert features a choir, soloists and a music ensemble, including an organ, piano, harp, oboe, bagpipe, flutes and a percussion section, including timpani. They will perform folk hymns and an "Americana" repertoire. Organizers plan to collect food for Lake Stevens food banks. Admission is free. Nonperishable food donations are appreciated. Joseph Ssebayigga from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hensen Hall, 2617 Cedar Ave., Everett. Ssebayigga is priest of the Bugonga Parish in Entebbe, Uganda. He plans to share stories of Ugandan children and to discuss a proposed school building. The Everett Rotary Club and others are considering helping to build a school on the Bugonga campus for the roughly 350 orphans there. The school is providing free education, infant care and a noon meal for the orphans. Admission is free. Those who attend are asked to bring cookies to share. Beverages will be provided.
