Review foreclosed property online

Dozens of properties that have been foreclosed upon are listed on the Web site for Snohomish County government for prospective buyers to review before an auction scheduled for Dec. 19.

From Darrington to Index, land once owned by people who fell behind on property tax payments will be sold. Bids will increase in increments of $100, and will start with a minimum bid that includes all unpaid taxes, interest and other penalties and administrative costs.

Buyers must pay for the properties with cash or a cashier's check as soon as they make the purchase.

The auction will take place at 10 a.m. at the Snohomish County PUD Auditorium at 2320 California St., Everett. Prospective buyers are encouraged to arrive at 9:30 a.m.

For more information, call the Snohomish County Treasurer's Office at 425-388-3606.
