Seahawks starters Wahle, Hill still hurting

RENTON -- Shortly after his team placed starting center Chris Spencer on injured reserve, coach Mike Holmgren said his Seattle Seahawks might also be without two other starters for Sunday's game against New England.

Holmgren said during his Wednesday press conference that guard Mike Wahle (shoulder) and linebacker Leroy Hill (neck stinger) are still hobbled by injuries. Holmgren called Hill "doubtful" for the game because of an injury he suffered in last Thursday's loss at Dallas.

"They're just waiting for the strength to come back in his arm," Holmgren said, referring to team doctors.

Wahle has missed two consecutive games, and Holmgren said there is still a possibility he could join Spencer on IR.

"I'm hopeful he can come back," Holmgren said.
