Police seek Snohomish home invasion suspects

SNOHOMISH – Police are looking for two men who reportedly forced their way into a woman’s home this afternoon, tied her up at gunpoint, and trashed her house. They stole guns, valuables and her pickup truck.

Just before 1 p.m., a Snohomish woman, 54, was home alone in the 9400 block of 163rd Avenue SE when she heard a knock at the door, Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. John Flood said.

Two men, both believed to be in their 30s, one black and one white, forced their way into the home and tied the woman up while they ransacked the house, Flood said.

The woman wasn’t physically hurt but was “terrified,” he said.

Deputies believe the suspects fled in the woman’s Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a small blue passenger car.

It’s not known why they targeted the woman’s home.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the sheriff's tip line at 425-388-3845.
