Chillingly good: The Kings, an Elvis Presley cover band, plays punk rock and eats ice cream.
And so, fittingly enough, it has both an ice cream flavor and a song it wants you to check out.
The group, whose four members are split between Everett and Lynnwood, supports Seattle ice cream shop Full Tilt. Particularly, the Kings recommend a flavor called Memphis King, which includes peanut butter, bananas and chocolate covered bacon.
"Elvis would have loved this," guitarist Mike Reynolds said.
The female-fronted group also has a gift for fans: a cover of the Presley-popularized song, "Blue Christmas." The group souped up the standard with some punk rock flare.
