Active Duty

Navy Fireman Shelby A. Court recently graduated from Naval Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. She is the daughter of Adam and Pam Court of Lake Stevens and the granddaughter of Irv and Anne Seaver of Marysville. Court is currently attending school at Naval Service Training Command in Great Lakes.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jevry M. Acosta has arrived for duty at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan. Acosta, a patrolman with one year of military service, is assigned to the 374th Security Forces Squadron. She is the daughter of Caroline Acosta-Drake of Mountlake Terrace. The airman is a 2006 graduate of Edmonds-Woodway High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Joey B. McManus, son of Eluira Armijo of Lake Stevens and Warren B. McManus of Lake Stevens, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. McManus is a 2003 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Brandon J. Andrews, son of Candis Alford of Bothell and Jules Andrews of Kirkland, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Navy Seaman Steffani E. Dawson, sister of Angela Dawson of Bothell, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
