Congress dished up more pork
Way too much of what I see being spent in the congressional bill seems to be pork, government growth and political rewards such as: $140 million for “climate data modeling,” $650 million for Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Program, $1 billion for “Periodic Censuses and Programs” and $18.5 billion for “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.”
We all need to make sure that every red cent of this package be directed to jobs and economic stimulus. When the common-sense taxpayer sees an expense, it should not take any explanation for them to understand how the money will create jobs and stimulus such as this expenditure: $50 million in grants to fund “arts projects and activities.”
