Cascade Bank has promoted Carrie Natoli to assistant vice president. Natoli serves as the bank's treasury specialist and works out of the corporate office in downtown Everett. Natoli, an Arlington resident, has more than 20 years of experience in banking. She joined Cascade's loan department in 1988, then switched to the bank's finance and accounting department nine years ago.

Dr. Mary Crawford of Everett has become the first female president of the 6,000-member American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Crawford is affiliated with Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and Providence General Medical Center in Everett. She has an office in Everett and provides surgical and non-surgical care to patients. She earned her podiatric medical degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, and is certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.



Barry Meyers, a certified elder law attorney who practices in Everett, served as chairman and moderator of a one-day continuing legal education class, "Elder Law Essentials," on Jan. 23 in Seattle. The class was co-sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association and its Elder Law Section. The nearly 200 attendees were challenged with various real-life issues, such as estate planning problems, disability and end of life issues, appropriateness of special needs trusts, Medicaid eligibility, guardianships, Social Security programs and ethical concerns. Meyers is one of nine certified elder law attorneys in Washington.

Jeff Decker, senior vice president and financial consultant, and Doug McClure, vice president, financial consultant and certified financial planner professional, were honored. D.A. "Innovation, Economics, and All That Jazz..." is the title of a talk to be given by Mike Schwenk, director of commercial partnerships at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, at 7:30 a.m. March 26 at the Everett Golf and Country Club. The session will be moderated by Sue Ambler, president and CEO of the Workforce Development Council. Registration deadline is March 18.
