Get ready for the roll-outs

It's official - because there is a press release - that the Senate will roll out its transportation budget.

Unofficially the Senate will roll out its operating budget Thursday and apparently the House will show its version a day later.

And I hear the Senate will come out with its capital budget Friday and the House would release its version Monday (unless they choose to work Saturday).

You can only hold me to the transportation (see release below) which I am going to guess won't be a big political problem given the Republicans will be attending in almost equal numbers as the Democrats.

OLYMPIA — The Senate Transportation Committee will release the 2009-11 transportation budget in Senate Hearing Room 1 of the John A. Cherberg Building at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.

Participating in the event will be committee chair Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island, vice-chair Sen. Chris Marr, D-Spokane, Sen Fred Jarrett, D-Bellevue, ranking minority member Sen. Dan Swecker, R-Rochester, and Sen. Curtis King, R-Yakima.
