What's black and white and dead, all over? Some stand-up comics and a few veterans of the Seattle Post- Intelligencer have organized a comedy night for April 1 in honor of the defunct newspaper.

Reporters are infamous for their gallows humor, so a night of comedy celebrating unemployed journalists should come as no surprise. The first 20 people in the door get a free subscription to seattlepi.com.

Last Dance with Mary Jane: Lynnwood lawmaker Rep. Mary Helen Roberts, D-B.C. Bud, has proposed bills that would decriminalize marijuana and has launched an Internet "potcast" to encourage dialogue about the issue.
