Baseball/softball

-- Shockers Baseball is looking for families to host 17- and 18-year-old players during the summer. There is a $300 stipend per month for each player housed. For more information, call 425-778-1133 or 425-238-1498.

Basketball

-- The City of Edmonds is offering a 4-on-4 Full-Court Basketball League on Monday and Friday nights. Play begins May 8. Games are at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds. The team fee is $295. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229.

Football/Cheerleading

-- Mukilteo Junior Football and Cheer is accepting registration for the 2009 season. The programs are for boys and girls ages 7-14. Sign-ups at Kamiak High School are scheduled for April 14 (6:30-8:30 p.m.), April 23 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) and May 2 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Registration at Mariner High School is scheduled for April 16 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) and 21 (6:30-8:30 p.m.), Registration also is available online at www.mukilteojrfootball.org.

-- The Marysville Youth Football League is offering a tackle program for players ages 6-13. For registration information, call 360-659-4738.

Inline Skating

-- The Everett Express Inline Speed Skating Team is recruiting new members. Drop-in practices are scheduled from 4:30-6 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Everett Skate Deck (9700 19th Ave. SE). The cost is $7. All ages are welcome. Current team members range in age from 3 to older than 50. For more information, call 425-337-0202.
