Reflections School of Dance recital Sunday in Everett
On Sunday, you'll have the chance to sample some tasty dance numbers when Reflections School of Dance offers a veritable buffet of dance entertainment with selections including hip-hop, ballet and jazz.
This is a free dance performance in celebration of National Dance Week. The event will feature the Cerulean Dance Company, Revolution Dance Team, Dunamis Crew and the Sparkettes Dance Team from Reflections School of Dance.
Special guest artist "Or1ginal," also known as Alvin Pakini Mikaele, is expected to open the event singing his brand of gospel hip-hop.
Representatives from several different area dance studios will hand out information, prizes and refreshments.
Cerulean Dance Company is a nonprofit contemporary dance company. The company exists to provide noncompetitive opportunities for dancers to expand their abilities, prepare for a future in dance and influence the world around them with confidence, said Reflections School directors Len and Debbie Wiens.
The dance event begins at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Snohomish County PUD Auditorium, 2320 California St., Everett.
