The man was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following the accident, reported at 7:54 p.m., State Patrol trooper Brandon Lee said. The man was northbound on the highway near the onramp to I-5 when he failed to follow the roadway's curve to the left, Lee said. He went over an embankment, hit some rocks about 15 feet down and flew off his bike. No other vehicles were involved.
