Donate a doll house?

Merry Haven Care Center in Snohomish needs a miniature collector's-type dollhouse.

It can be finished or unfinished, but it should be made of wood. It will be used for a men's group project at the nursing care facility.

Please let Connie Ennis know if you can help out by calling 360-568-3161.

Visit Zion for patriotic program: Zion Lutheran School children offer a musical Memorial Day assembly called "Americans, We!"

It's planned for 9 this morning at 3923 103rd Ave. SE, Everett.

Memorial Day is Monday: Here are some closures and schedule changes:

  • Government: Federal, state and local offices will be closed.

  • Schools: Closed, including colleges.

  • Post offices: Closed, although express mail service continues.

  • Commerce: Most businesses and banks will be closed. Malls and many retail stores will be open.
