Harsh education techniques: As part of their studies of medieval times, two Marysville Middle School seventh-graders helped build a full-scale model of a pillory for the school's medieval fair. Each boy took a turn locked into the ancient torture device while the other pelted the pilloried peasant with foam "rocks."
