Congratulations to all of our local graduates

Summer’s just around the corner and that means another school year is drawing to a close.

For some students and their proud families, the end of this school year means graduation time, a milestone in a young person’s life.

Are you a high school grad heading off to college? Take our advice: Buckle down and study hard, but don’t forget to have fun. The next few years will be some of the most challenging and exciting in your life.

For those of you who aren’t sure if college is for you, try looking into trade school. Qualified mechanics, electricians, plumbers and healthcare technicians are always in demand.

Or are you a fresh-faced college grad who’s about to head out into the “real world”? News of massive layoffs and high unemployment probably has you feeling a little nervous. While we can’t say for certain when the economy will pick up again, we can say that your hard work for that degree will pay off down the road.
