Will Brockman play with Lebron? Or Shaq?

With two weeks remaining before the 2009 NBA draft, Snohomish native Jon Brockman could be in line to join a team with some big names.

Several mock drafts have emerged online, and the general consensus is that Brockman, who recently finished his senior year at the University of Washington, has a 50-50 chance of being drafted.

NBAdraft.net projects Brockman as the 46th overall pick, going to Cleveland in Round 2. Collegehoops.net has Brockman slated for Phoenix at No. 57.

Hoopsworld.com, which ranks Brockman as the 71st prospect in the upcoming draft, is among the websites that does not project the UW star among the 60 picks in the June 25 draft.

The only Snohomish County native to have an extended career in the NBA is Jack Nichols, a Monroe High School graduate who was a member of the Boston Celtics' 1957 NBA champion team.
