Track: New Hampshire Motor Speedway (oval, 1.058 miles). Race distance: 318.46 miles, 301 laps.
Last year: Kurt Busch won the rain-shortened race, staying on the track when the leaders pitted. Michael Waltrip was second. In the September race at Loudon, Greg Biffle won the Chase opener. Jimmie Johnson was second.
