It benefits the Robe Valley Volunteer Fire Department. The party is at Green Gables General Store, 32518 Mountain Loop Highway. Blue Stilly Coffee Roasters will be there selling coffee. Holiday closures: Here are some scheduled closures and changes for Friday and Saturday, the Fourth of July: Government: Federal, state and local offices are closed both days. Schools: Closed. Post offices: Open Friday, closed Saturday, although express mail service continues. Commerce: Everett and Alderwood malls are open both days. Check your bank branch for hours. Transportation: Community Transit is on a Sunday schedule Friday, and a regular schedule Saturday. Everett Transit is on a regular schedule Friday and on a Sunday schedule Saturday. For ferry information, go to www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries or call 888-808-7977. The Herald: The delivery deadline is 7:30 a.m. Classified advertising and the front lobby are closed both days.
