Peeps for your peeps

Not just for Easter anymore: Marshmallow Peeps, those chick-shaped mounds of brightly colored sugar fluff, are getting their own store in Maryland.

The store is conveniently located next to another shop offering sickly sweet wares with no redeeming qualities: a Thomas Kinkade Painter of Light Gallery.

Look it up: Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary has added about 100 words to its latest edition, including frenemy, sock puppet and staycation.

Noting how quickly staycation came into common usage, The Buzz would like to lobby for a variant of the word to be included in next year's edition: The practice of telling everyone you know including your spouse that you're going hiking when you're actually flying out of the country for a tryst with your lover is a "straycation."

Spew the Puyallup: The Puyallup Fair is rebuilding part of its vintage wooden roller coaster, one of fewer than 125 wooden coasters remaining in the U.S. The basic layout won't change, but riders will notice a quieter, more solid ride.

Also less noticeable will be the aroma of decades of regurgitated onion burgers, scones, cotton candy and deep-fried Twinkies.
