MARYSVILLE -- A dog that was in the home of the woman shot Wednesday in Marysville is missing.

Petunia, a 7-pound rat terrier, belongs to a friend of the victim, relatives said. The commotion of the shooting and emergency response startled the dog and she ran off.

The shooting occurred around noon in the 4400 block of 128th Place NE.

The woman who was shot remained in serious condition Friday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Anyone who may have seen Petunia is asked to call 360-204-9487.
