Everett Merchants fall to Seattle Studs, 4-2

EVERETT — The Everett Merchants fell to the Seattle Studs 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Brennen Grubb gave up the four runs for Everett and picked up the loss. He was relieved by Tyler Rice in the sixth inning, who held the Studs scoreless the rest of the way.

Kevin Rodland doubled in a run for Everett and Chad Dias also picked up an RBI for the Merchants (22-10).

Jake Hammons batted 2-for-4 and Ian Parmley was 2-for-5 for the Merchants.

The Studs improved to 35-10 on the season.

The Merchants travel to British Columbia on Saturday for a doubleheader against Kelowna. The first game starts at 4 p.m.
