Take the Greenway Challenge

Get out this summer and explore the 100-mile “Mountains to Sound Greenway” along Interstate 90 from Seattle to Central Washington for a chance to win great prizes. It’s a fun way to learn about the cultural, historic and recreational treasures of the Greenway, which encompasses protected and working forests, farms, historic sites, lakes, campgrounds, rivers, trails, wildlife habitat and many communities.

Of the 1.4 million acres of land in the Greenway, over 750,000 acres have been preserved and are held by local, state and federal agencies in trust for the public good.

Visit www.mtsgreenway.org/greenwaydays/greenway-challenge to register for the challenge then get exploring. To enter, you must visit at least five of 20 “official” sites and submit a photo of your family at each one. Choices range from the Burke Museum in Seattle to the Snoqualmie Railroad Depot to the Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility in Ellensburg.

Prizes include lift tickets to Snoqualmie Pass, Seattle Storm tickets and more. The entry deadline is September 7. You must be at least 18 years to register.
