Anything but the Canadian club

What would PETA say? The European Union has voted to ban imports of seal pelts, meat, blubber and other products to persuade Canada to end its annual seal hunt.

Canadians who still feel the urge to club the life out of something small and defenseless are invited to come south to our garden and have at our slugs and snails.

Chew on this: DNA evidence helped lead FBI agents to their suspect in an elaborate armored car robbery in September in Monroe. Anthony Curcio, who was sentenced Monday, used Craigslist to try and create a diversion but left behind a bottle filled with the tobacco chewer's spit.

This now proves that, at least for the FBI, the proverbial “warm bucket of spit” is actually worth quite a bit.
