COUPEVILLE — Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Wash., will discuss congressional Democrats’ proposals for reforming the nation’s health care insurance system at events tonight and next week.

Tonight, Larsen will provide an update when he appears at a forum hosted by the Whidbey Island League of Women Voters.

The forum is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Coupeville Recreation Center at 901 NW Alexander St., Coupeville.

Next Wednesday, health care reforms will be the focal point of a town hall-style meeting in Everett.

That hour-long event will begin at 5 p.m. in the Weyerhaeuser Room of the Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave., Everett.
