Take a bite out of Edmonds
The annual festival of food and music runs through Sunday
EDMONDS — Outtasite with Sir Mix-A-Lot highlights the performing acts in the next two days of the Taste of Edmonds.
And of course there’s bratwurst, Tibetan cuisine, kettle corn, pizza, burritos, barbecue and more.
The 27th annual festival continues today and Sunday with music on three stages, arts and crafts, roving artists, and food, food and more food.
Sir Mix-A-Lot is scheduled to perform from 7 to 8 tonight at the Beer Garden Stage. Kids Stage performances include The Aussie Outback Show, JP Patches, the Reptile Man and others.
Edmonds Idol and Edmonds Jr. Idol singing competitions are planned from 4 to 6 p.m. today and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, respectively.
The Taste of Edmonds runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Civic Center Playfield, 310 Sixth Ave. N., Edmonds. Free shuttle buses run between the playfield and Edmonds-Woodway High School, 7600 212th St. SW, every 15 minutes; $3 admission, $5 to $8 entrees, $3 “Bite” items; 425-776-6711; full schedule at www.edmondswa.com/events/taste.
