HEALTH CARE

Ultimate goal is ‘single-payer’

To all of you employees of Boeing, Microsoft, Costco and other large companies in this state that provide perfectly fine health-care plans at a reasonable or no cost to their employees, beware of the Obamacare “talking points” about “maintaining the status quo is unacceptable,” as dribbled by Congressman Rick Larsen in a recent town hall meeting.

What this means is that you will eventually lose your health-care benefits, as now provided, because higher costs and restrictions put on your employer will eventually drive those employers into dumping you and your family on to the government’s “public option.” This is the ultimate goal of these Democratic plans, and that is for every man, woman and child to be covered under a “single-payer” system, just like Canada’s. Yuk! Don’t believe me? Just check out some recent statements by Barnie Frank, Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid and even President Obama himself concerning their ultimate goal. I say, “Just say no” to a government takeover of our health care.
