URGENT REQUEST

Please help us locate stolen church music

On Aug. 12 at 2:30 p.m. in Snohomish, my sisters’ homes (next to each other) were robbed. Many things were taken. Sadly enough, it’s a common occurrence these days. But this time was different.

Among the things that were taken was a small unlocked safe. It contained no drugs, no guns, no money, just music, church music. Years and years worth of songs painstakingly written, transposed and organized into binders.

Music that my sisters have sung and played in churches and nursing homes in the area.

My sister Marion has undergone many things: cancer surgery, chemotherapy, her husband being diagnosed and dying of cancer. Her faith and her music brought her through these terrible times.

My sister Karon is a single mom who has sacrificed so much for her family and yet her faith has never wavered. We have to believe that somehow these songs and the hymn book passed down from our father will be miraculously found. We are praying for you, whoever you are, to find it in your heart to call someone or leave the music somewhere where it can be returned. God is merciful and will forgive you.

If anyone has any information please contact Central Christian Church in Snohomish or Machias Community Church in Snohomish.
