Sedro-Woolley teachers’ union settles

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — The union for teachers in Sedro-Woolley and the district reached agreement early today on a tentative contract.

If teachers agree at a 2 p.m. meeting at Sedro-Woolley High School, classes will begin Thursday, one day late.

Meanwhile, the Kent School District is asking a judge to order 1,700 striking teachers to work.

A judge in Kent will consider an injunction today, the third day that about 26,000 students are missing classes.
