Bengals cut LB Blackstock, put WR Chatham on IR

CINCINNATI — Linebacker Darryl Blackstock and safety Marvin White have been cut by the Cincinnati Bengals as part of moves to reach the 53-man roster limit.

The Bengals also put receiver Antonio Chatman on injured reserve Saturday with an ankle injury, ending his season.

Blackstock started four games last season and played in eight others. He was suspended four games by the NFL for using a nutritional supplement that contained a banned substance.

White was fourth-round draft pick in 2007 who started 14 games the last two years. He started 10 games last season before tearing ligaments in his right knee Nov. 30.
