Political FYI: Republican Women's Club sets forum for GOP candidates

EVERETT — Republican candidates for Snohomish County Council have been invited to attend an event hosted by the Snohomish County Republican Women’s Club on Thursday.

The forum is at 11 a.m. at Shawn O’Donnell’s Restaurant, 122 128th St. SE.

The sole Republican currently on the five-member council, John Koster, is defending his seat in the 1st District against Democrat Ellen Hiatt Watson in the Nov. 3 election.

Republican Steve Dana is challenging incumbent Democrat Dave Somers in the 5th District.

Republican Bob Meador is challenging incumbent Democrat Dave Gossett in the 4th District.
