Superior Court candidates in forum Sept. 30
Candidates vying for an open seat on the Snohomish County Superior Court bench are expected to speak at a forum Sept. 30.
Five men are running for the seat left vacant by the retirement of Judge James Allendoerfer. Those candidates include former Superior Court judge David Hulbert, Snohomish County deputy prosecutor Scott Lord and Everett attorneys Scott Peterson, Rico Tessandore and Joe Wilson.
The public can meet the candidates beginning at 5:30 p.m. The forum will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the ballroom at the Monte Cristo Hotel, 1507 Wall St., Everett. The event, free and open to the public, is being sponsored by Washington Women Lawyers and the Snohomish County Bar Association.
All candidates will be on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.
