Maybe the transition into kindergarten could use some lullaby music

So. How is kindergarten going for everyone? Is your child happily skipping off to school or still miserable, wetting the bed and having nightmares and crying fits?

If yours is suffering, maybe some lullaby music will help.

Check out a new lullaby album, a collaboration from Camano Island resident Caroyln Southworth and her daughter and Standwood High grad Jennifer Thomas of Fall City. I listened to a few tracks of this and, seriously, I mean this in the nicest way: this music will put your child to sleep.

The CD is called "The Lullaby Album" and can be previewed on Southworth's Web site Southworth.com

Southworth is a composer, pianist and recording artist. Her latest musical effort with her daughter presents popular lullabies tailored to adults and children in this newly released album that taps the talents of Grammy nominated Paul Speers and Emmy winning concert pianist Jace Vek.
