'Makeover’ money could feed people
I read the article in Tuesday’s paper about big hair and blue eye shadow. (“Lynnwood spending $80,000 for image makeover.”)
I thought it was funny. I got as far as the $80,000 budget set aside to look for a new image. I quit reading — I was so angry I was shaking.
I had just come home from the Food Bank, where we had signed up 30 new families in the past two weeks.
Your money would be better spent on helping the jobless, homeless and hungry children.
You just gave me one more reason to vote against annexation.
