Dust storm, freeze warnings for Eastern Washington

SPOKANE — The National Weather Service has extended a dust storm warning until 5 p.m. today in the area that includes Moses Lake, Ephrata and Ritzville.

Forecasters says north winds of 15 mph to 20 mph are blowing dust across the upper Columbia Basin, limiting visibility for drivers.

Forecasters say those north winds are bringing freezing weather overnight.

A freeze warning will be in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday between the Wenatchee area and the southeast corner of Washington and into northern Idaho.
