Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw averaged an incredible 10 yards per carry on Sunday, while Brandon Jacobs rushed for 3.2 ypc on his 21 carries.

    Not mad at Ahmad

But I'm definitely getting a little frustrated with the Giants running back. Ahmad Bradshaw was limping around Giants practice all week with a boot on, so I let him see the bench in all the leagues I own him, even though he was going against the joke that is the Oakland Raiders.

    Big mistake.

Bradshaw tore off big chunks of yards en route to 110 yards on the ground and two scores. Ouch.

But realistically what do you do with a guy like Bradshaw? Some weeks he's going to get 5-6 carries and give you 28 yards. Other weeks he'll be an integral part of the offense and shred defenses like Sunday. He's the ultimate running-back-by-committee guy.

Fortunately for Bradshaw owners coaches and players on the Giants staff might be seeing the light, including Tom Coughlin. In this article in the NY Post, Giants center Shaun O'Hara and QB Eli Manning acknowledge that Bradshaw brings an energy to the offense that is missing when Brandon Jacobs is tip-toeing his way around the backfield.

This is exactly the situation I was planning on occuring sometime this season. I mean I was really sold on Jacobs getting hurt, but that hasn't happened yet. So what to do with Bradshaw.

If you've got a flex spot or you're in a deep league or he's just one of your top-2 back plain and simple play him. But what if he's No. 3 or 4 on your depth chart and you've got no flex spot for him? I say play him against weak run defenses and sit him when the Giants go up against teams like New Orleans (Sunday), Arizona (Week 6) and Denver (Week 12).

Here's some other news and notes from around the League:

If it weren't for Willis McGahee, Ray Rice would be the No. 1 running back in fantasy. Baltimore Sun writer Kevin Van Vaulkenberg makes a case that Rice can and should be the main ball carrier, like he was Sunday, for the Ravens going forward. If you own Rice hang on, he may pay big dividends come playoff time.

Patriots wideout Randy Moss was held to one catch Sunday against Denver and it seemed Josh McDaniels had the right scheme in place to stop him. Belichick talked about it on Boston sports radio and it seems like it's something that's not going to stop anytime soon. That's great news for Wes Welker owners and not so much for Moss owners.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson limped off the field Sunday, putting the fear of God into many fantasy owners. But it appears Megatron will be fine and should be good to go this Sunday against the Packers. What's more concerning for Johnson owners is the status of quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is still uncertain to play Sunday.

Good news for Greg Jennings owners, he's calling for the ball. Bad news? The Packers still have the same shoddy line that is making it hard for Rodgers to oblige Jennings's wishes. With Chad Clifton back this week, look for Jennings to start seeing more looks and catches ... and hopefully touchdowns.

The Browns are sticking with Derek Anderson. Oh who cares? I know you don't. Ignore. Plus this little tidbit: Brady Quinn, who has been rumored to be on the trading block, has put his house up for sale.

Chris Cooley went without a catch or a target on Sunday, and that may become a trend. The Redskins offensive line woes are making Cooley stay in more to help block and injury problems along the line aren't improving. Not good.

Eagles RB Brian Westbrook returned to the lineup but didn't get a lot of work on Sunday. That may continue. With LeSean McCoy playing well and a plethora of wideouts to throw to, Westbrook's role on this team seems to be diminishing. Keep in mind, Westbrook owners.

It seems Roy Williams will be back in the lineup on Sunday. Don't drop Miles Austin quite yet, though. If Williams continues to struggle, Romo will probably make a case for Austin to get more playing time and balls. Wade Phillips has already said Austin will get more playing time on Sunday.

I know this is on the defensive side of the ball, but the Steelers took a big hit when Aaron Smith was reportedly lost until January. Watch Pittsburgh's defense struggle over the next couple of months without its top rush end.
