Active Duty

Air Force Airman Erik Jacobson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Pamula and Mark Jacobson of Arlington, and a 2007 graduate of Stillaguamish Valley School.

Air Force Airman Reese Audette graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Maurice Audette of Mountlake Terrace and Chris Nelson of Everett. Audette is a 2004 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.

Air Force Airman Derek Radek recently graduated from basic training from Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Radek is a 2009 graduate of Snohomish High School and is in training to become a communications specialist. He will continue his training at Keesler Air Force Base in Galveston, Texas. His parents are Tom and Kimberly Radek of Snohomish.

Air Force Airman James Bradley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Bradley earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the brother of Heather Bradley of Everett.

Air Force Airman Nathan Murphy graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Murphy earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Julie Murphy of Lakewood, Pierce County, and Gerald Murphy of Oak Harbor. The airman is a 2006 graduate of Lakes High School in Lakewood, Pierce County.

Navy Seaman Recruit Sydney Britton, daughter of Heidi and Jeffrey Britton of Everett, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Britton is a 2009 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.

Army Pvt. Steven Vandever has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Ky. He is the son of Geri Haas and brother of James Vandever of Lake Stevens. His wife Sarah is the daughter of Craig and Anne Ramsey of Everett. The private is a 1993 graduate of Everett High School.

Nathan Taggart graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course at Fort Lewis. The cadet is a student at the University of Washington. He is the son of Randy and Lisa Taggart of Stanwood, and a 2006 graduate of Stanwood High School.

Stephen Leverkuhn has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Keith and Jane Leverkuhn of Mukilteo, and a 2006 graduate of Kamiak High School.

Army Pfc. Austin Bray has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of David and Kristie Bray and grandson of Helen and Lowell Williams, all of Monroe. Bray is a 2009 graduate of Leaders in Learning High School, Monroe.

Jason Dickson has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course at Fort Lewis. Dickson is the son of Terry and Petra Dickson of Oak Harbor.

Army National Guard Pfc. Trevor Mallett has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Evan Mallett of Everett and the grandson of David Thompson of Edmonds. Mallett is a 1994 graduate of Federal Way High School.
