Q and A with the librarian

Have a question you can’t answer? Google got you stumped? Sno-Isle Libraries have professional information specialists — simply called librarians — who know how to go beyond Internet search engines to find needed information. Tapping into a librarian’s knowledge is just as convenient as searching the Web with Sno-Isle Libraries “Ask a Librarian” service.

Part of Ask-WA, a statewide cooperative of libraries in Washington that is in turn part of a larger, global cooperative, “Ask a Librarian” is an easy online chat format aimed at getting questions answered within minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Professional librarians are ready to help you with any question from checking that pesky fact to helping you get started on in-depth research.

Get answers now through Sno-Isle Libraries Web site at www.sno-isle.org, and click on “Ask a Librarian” on the top bar. In addition to the around-the-clock online reference service, you may submit questions by e-mail or by phone.

Ask-WA is a service coordinated by the Washington State Library and in participation with Washington libraries statewide.
