Two Maltby teens struck by car

Two teenage girls were injured after being hit by a car in the Maltby area Saturday night, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

One of the girls suffered a broken leg, while information on the injury to the other girl wasn’t immediately available, said Lt. Rick Hawkins with the Sheriff’s office.

The accident was reported at 9:11 p.m. in the 23500 block of 75th Avenue SE. Both girls were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. No further information about the girls or the driver of the car was available.
