Active Duty

Marine Corps Pvt. Scott Stewart has graduated from basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif. He now heads to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps School of Aviation Safety in Pensacola, Fla., for training as a mechanic. Stewart is a 2009 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School. He is the son of Laura Stewart of Marysville and Jeff Stewart of Clovis, Calif. His grandparents are Fred and Donna Williams of Arlington.

Air Force Airman Joseph Ritter graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Christy Ritter of Lake Stevens, and is a 2007 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.

Air Force Airman Joshua Rowe graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Terri Davis of Mukilteo and Mark Rowe of Everett. The airman is a 2007 graduate of Mariner High School.

Air Force Airman Joshua Park graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Phil Park of Everett, and a 2007 graduate of Mariner High School.

Air Force Airman Andre Depano graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. His wife, Samantha, is the daughter of Richard Somerville of Lake Stevens. Depano is a 2007 graduate of Inglemoor High School, Kenmore.

Army Reserve Pvt. Kyle Greene has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Greene is the son of Michael Greene of Everett, and is a 2009 graduate of Cascade High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Garrett Neatherlin, son of Jodi Neatherlin of Snohomish and Tom Neatherlin of Snohomish, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Neatherlin is a 2008 graduate of Snohomish High School.

Army Spc. Matthew Millenaar has completed the Warrior Transition Course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Ray J. Millenaar of Granite Falls, and a 1992 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School. His wife Shana is from North Carolina.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Kendahl Peterson, daughter of Dellene Dahl of Sedro-Woolley and Ken Peterson of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Peterson is a 2005 graduate of Sedro-Woolley High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Andrew Ly, son of Nancy Ly of Marysville and Dung Ly of San Leandro, Calif., recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Ly is a 2009 graduate of San Leandro High School.
