The teams are tied for third place in the U.S. Division, though Everett has played one less game. Spokane won last year’s season series 7-1. After a stuttering start Spokane seems to have righted itself. The Chiefs have won four straight to get themselves back into the U.S. Division race, most recently topping Vancouver 2-1 at home Saturday. Spokane features four forwards who can match any other team’s top four. In addition to the 19-year-old Beach (14 goals, four assists), that group includes 19-year-old center Mitch Wahl (five goals, 17 assists), 19-year-old left wing Levko Koper (10 goals, nine assists) and 19-year-old center Tyler Johnson (nine goals, eight assists). At the back, Spokane has an experienced defense led by 18-year-old Jared Cowen (three goals, nine assists). In goal, 19-year-old James Reid (8-4-1-0, 2.46 goals against average, .910 save percentage) is in his first season as the starter.
