Worker dies after 4-story fall from Lynnwood building

LYNNWOOD – A carpet installer died Thursday after falling four stories out a window and landing on his head.

The accident happened around 10 a.m. as the man was working at the Holiday Inn Express in the 2500 block of 196th Street SW, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.

Police are investigating, Sessions said.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he later died, officials said.
