Cause of Emory's fire still under investigation

EVERETT – Fire investigators still haven’t determined what sparked the $2 million blaze that destroyed Emory’s, the landmark restaurant on the shores of Silver Lake.

The fiery blaze erupted Monday around 4:20 a.m. No one was injured but 50 people lost their jobs.

On Thursday, Everett city spokeswoman Kate Reardon said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
