Seems Like Yesterday

The annual meeting of the Last Mans Club was coming up tomorrow at the Snohomish Airfield Skyroom Cafe. Presently heading the organization were Rudy Nichols, president; Harry Bennett, vice president, and Cecil Campbell, secretary.

Love Israel had returned to life at the ranch near Arlington. After infighting within the commune and temporary self-exile, he had returned to what he called “a new bite on life.” Love Israel founded his organization 16 years earlier based on a belief in the oneness of humankind.
