Wednesday practice report

Posted at 2:47 pm by John Boyle

The Seahawks weren't quite as healthy at practice today as we thought they might be. Three players didn't practice in addition to Julius Jones, though it's still early so it's very possible that all three could be back tomorrow or Friday and play Sunday.

SEAHAWKS
Out
RB Julius Jones (chest)

Did not participate in practice
DT Craig Terrill (shoulder)
CB Marcus Trufant (concussion)
CB Josh Wilson (concussion)

Full participation in practice
C Chris Spencer (thumb)

Based on this practice report and what we saw in the game, it appears the Seahawks played a good chunk of Sunday's with two concussed starting cornerbacks. Trufant was slow to get up after helping stop a fourth-and-goal run in the first quarter, and Wilson stayed down for a while after hitting his head on Beanie Wells' leg and then the turf on a second-quarter play. Both finished the game.

VIKINGS
Did not participate in practice
DT Fred Evans (illness)

Limited participation in practice
WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring)
CB Benny Sapp (groin)
FB Naufahu Tahi (ankle)
CB Antoine Winfield (foot)
QB Brett Favre (groin/hip)

Full participation in practice
LB E.J. Henderson (knee)
