While taking in Thursday's Art Walk in Edmonds, stop by the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., for the opening of the Sculptor's Workshop annual holiday pottery sale. The unique functional and sculptural artwork by Sculptor's Workshop members at are offered during the hours of 6-8 p.m. Thursday Nov. 19, 2-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 21.

Art Walk features music, demonstrations

November's Art Walk in downtown Edmonds Thursday, Nov. 19 promises a full slate of visual arts, artist demonstrations, and live music at more than 30 merchant locations.

Highlights of the live performance schedule include the Sherwood Marimba Band at ArtsNow in the Edmonds Conference Center, Mark Zyla on the piano at Fabric of Life and Those Guys at Salon Pena. Live music at The Loft gets underway at 8 p.m.

Artist demonstrations planned include travel drawing with Andy Goulding at Rick Steves' from 6 to 7 p.m., Autumn's Framing & Gallery owner Autumn Kegley demonstrating her watercolor painting technique., Michelle Fokos' fused glass at Manya Vee Selects and watercolors at Aria Studio Gallery at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

At ACE Hardware, young artist Carolyn Votaw shows her pen and ink drawings inspired by a trip to Florence. Aria Studio Gallery features paintings and photography by Joan Archer and Leah Goodwin. Arista Wine Cellars displays scenes by Margi Baxter Wilburn, award-winning photographer. At ArtsNow Gallery, members of the Contemporary Quilters Society will be exhibiting quilts made for The Fabric of Life foundation in Edmonds.

Bellissimo Salon presents the paintings of Robin Jordan. Bluefish Designs hosts Diana Fairbanks and her paintings of Washington scenery. C'est La Vie exhibits the work of local photogragher and Edmonds teacher, Gail Yampol.

At Coldwell Banker Bain, view Caryl Utigard's photography, where a holiday artist bazaar is also planned. Cole Gallery and Artist Supplies exhibits Jeanne Edwards' oils. Comstock Jewelers presents the still life paintings of Bonnie Hodges. Designer Consignor features scarves and jewelry by weaver and artist Marcy Johnson. Edmonds Bookshop hosts the handmade dolls of Cindy Burdell. Local landscapes captured by the paintbrush of Kristine Henshaw are on display at Edmonds Frame Design and Atelier.

Edward Jones showcases Quata Cody's classic oil paintings. Fabric of Life hosts a GlassyBaby Trunk Show, the original drawings of Michael Albanese and West African Fabric of Life pillows by Ruth Granen. Festivities invites guests in for wine, appetizers and oil paintings by Liao Lei. Gallery North features oil paintings and prints by Rob Schouten. Lili Hall's jewelry is hosted at Garden Gear. At Glazed and Amazed, view portrait photography by Amber Salinas.

Housewares displays the latest paintings in Cheryl Waale's crow series, while Interiors of Edmonds hosts master artist David Marty's landscapes. J Rankin Jewelers hosts fine art photographs from Jeff Honeycutt of Sea Studio. Ombu Salon will also feature art this month.

Red Twig presents Arturo Torres' photographs of Mexico and Europe. Reliable Floor Coverings hosts Kurt Jensen's photography. At Resident Cheesemonger, Angela Berri folk-art style paintings are on display.

Salon Pena features blown glass by David Drain. Soma Salon highlights Meagan Christie's tapestry of natural American landscapes. Stone Veneers Limited exhibits the photography of Finn Garaas. At The Gregory, view Cookie Lee Jewelry, Shannon designer jewelry, and Maxine's encaustic beeswax paintings.
