Man arrested for murder in connection with body found in Arlington field

ARLINGTON — An Arlington area man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail early today for investigation of murder in connection with a body found Wednesday in a pasture, police said.
The man is expected to go before a judge later today. He's being held for investigation of second-degree murder.
The dead man has not been identified. Officials said the person is likely in his 20s.
Detectives were called Wednesday morning after the body was discovered in a field.
A neighbor reported the discovery shortly before noon in the area near the 23400 block of 35th Avenue NE in unincorporated Arlington, Snohomish County Sheriff's spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
Detectives from the sheriff's Major Crimes Unit investigated and an arrest was made.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner was expected to do an autopsy to identify the man and to determine how he died.
