Man’s body found in Arlington field

ARLINGTON — Detectives were called Wednesday morning after a man’s body was discovered in a field.

A neighbor shortly before noon reported the discovery in the area near the 23400 block of 35th Avenue NE in unincorporated Arlington, Snohomish County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

Detectives from the sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit were called to investigate.

Hover said the body is that of a white man, likely in his 20s. She didn’t have further details on Tuesday.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner was expected to do an autopsy to identify the man and to determine how he died.
