Marysville man arrested as rapes of three kids investigated
MARYSVILLE — A Marysville man, 31, was jailed Tuesday on suspicion that he raped three children: two girls, 7 and 9, and a boy, 5.
The children were at a sleep-over at the man's home, according to a police affidavit filed Wednesday in Everett District Court. He was described as a family friend.
The children's mother got suspicious after she heard them talking about the way the man touched them, the court paper said.
The man at first denied molesting the children, police said. He later allegedly admitted that he may have accidentally touched them.
The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of three counts of first-degree rape of a child.
