Monday press conference notes

Posted at 3:46 pm by John Boyle

Jim Mora held his usual Monday press conference a little while ago, and as has been the case for a few weeks now, the main topics weren't injuries, which is quite a change of pace from earlier this season.

DE Cory Redding did suffer a concussion yesterday, and his status is up in the air.

RB Julius Jones is expected to practice this week, but it is still unknown if he'll be ready to play after missing two straight games because of a bruised lung.

"I don't know where he'll be this week," Mora said.

And despite his second game over 100 yards in three weeks, Justin Forsett will not be the starting running back if Julius Jones is fully recovered and ready to play. Mora said Jones is still their starter if healthy, but also said Forsett has earned himself more carries with his play of late.
